APS interval calculation

This is just a discussion of how to calculate APS (attack per second) with addition of interval gear.

APS = attack per second
interval = seconds between each attack

Dragonslayer, annihilation tt99 gold has an attack rate (aka aps) of 0.91
Bracers of Blood Moon lvl 60 mold with a -0.10 interval stats

we will take this gear setup to examine how the attack rates (aka aps) will change accordingly with the interval bracer.

formula:
APS = 1 / (interval)
interval = 1 / (aps)


so with attack rate of 0.91 on dragonslayer, the sword has a BASE interval of ~1.0989
interval = 1 / (aps) = 1 / (0.91) = ~ 1.0989

to calculate the aps with additional interval gear... just convert ur base interval of that particular weapon and subtract the -interval from ur armors (in this case the bracer).

base interval from weapon = 1.0989
interval modification from bracer = -0.10
new interval for weapon w/ modifier (bracer) = 1.0989 - 0.10 = 0.9989

so to find the new attack rate (aps) with the interval modifier (bracer) ... u just have to take the inverse of the new interval speed for that weapon.

New APS = 1/ (new interval for weap) = 1/(0.9989) = ~ 1.001 aps


so we can see from this formula that the speed of this weapon increase from 0.91 attack rate to ~1.00 attack rate with and one -0.10 interval gear.
